6.2-liter engine from the Denali is available
GMC has been applying incremental changes to the Yukon every model year to keep it fresh since its 2015 redesign. For 2019, GMC is adding two Graphite Editions. Buyers can order the special edition treatment on Yukon or Yukon XL models, and with either rear- or four-wheel drive.
Based off the SLT trim, the 2019 GMC Yukon Graphite Edition comes with minor cosmetic changes. These include black roof rails, black chrome grille mesh insert and fog lamp surrounds, gloss black beltline moldings, 22-inch wheels with Carbon Flash Metallic pockets, gloss black-accented assist steps, and a body-color grille surround.
The Graphite Performance Edition ups the ante with the 6.2-liter V-8 engine from the Yukon Denali. That engine, like on the Denali, is paired with a 10-speed automatic. This special edition, also based on the SLT, gets similar upgrades from the Graphite Edition plus 22-inch gloss black wheels, Magnetic Ride Control, Bose Active Noise Cancellation, a head-up display, 8-inch infotainment screen with navigation, trailer brake controller, and an active two-speed transfer case for four-wheel drive models.
The Onyx Black exterior goes particularly well with the black accents, but the Graphite Editions are also available in White Frost Tricoat and Dark Sky Metallic paint jobs. Both Graphite Editions will go on sale this summer, and prices will be announced closer to the launch date. This summer, GMC is also bringing out Black Editions of the 2019 Acadia and Terrain.
