Mopar has outdone itself with a host of concept vehicles for this year’s Specialty Equipment Market Association show in Las Vegas. Chrysler‘s accessory parts division commands a large 15,345 square-foot display at this year’s show to debut modified Dodge Challengers, Ram Rebels, and a host of other special creations.
Ram Rebel X
Making the Ram Rebel even more extreme are a host of cosmetic and performance parts from Mopar. Up front, the Rebel features a concept two-piece skid plate and a RAM logo painted in Satin Black. The bed features a soft tri-fold tonneau cover, and a dual exhaust bed step allows improved access to tools or other equipment stored in the rear. The vehicle sits atop 17-inch cast-aluminum beadlock wheels wrapped in 35-inch Toyo tires. Under the sheetmetal, the Rebel X packs a 5.7-liter HEMI engine and a concept air ride suspension for smoother travels.
Ram ProMaster DragMaster
This unique creation serves as a tow vehicle for a drag racing machine, as well as a pit vehicle designed with the practicality to store lots of equipment. Key features include custom shelves and racks inside the cabin, side steps, Mopar LED cargo lights, and a hitch receiver with trailer tow wiring harness.
Ram ProMaster City DiveMaster
Mopar has created some kind of elaborate story behind this vehicle, which has been dubbed the “Mopar Ram Deep Dive Scuba Shop.” Sounds about as niche as you can get. Along with its aquatic body colors and red and white “diver down” flag detailing for the mirror caps, the model features plenty of custom fittings inside. Look for custom racks for scuba suits, a spray-on floor liner, and a TV screen mounting area.
Dodge Challenger GT AWD Concept
Along with its Header Orange headlights and body accents, this special Challenger features a concept wide body kit, 20-inch wheels, and quad Mopar exhaust tips. Its 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 is upgraded with the Scat Pack 3 performance kit, boosting power to 450 ponies and 454 lb-ft of torque. The model also boasts a concept suspension kit as well as Katzkin leather seats with suede inserts.
Dodge Charger Deep Stage 3
As with the Challenger, Mopar decided to put in an additional 75 hp to this 5.7-liter HEMI Dodge Charger thanks to a Scat Pack 3 kit. The model also receives a big brake kit and a lower ground clearance. Tack on a concept Mopar body kit and 22-inch wheels, and you have one stealth Charger.
Dodge Dart GLH Concept
What does “GLH” stand for? Goes Like Hell, of course. While this custom Dart may not receive a bump in horsepower, it does get a high-performance brake kit, exhaust tips, and a body kit. Other details include a Mopar Performance aluminum hood, 18-inch wheels, and red accents throughout the vehicle.
Chrysler 300 Super S
This Chrysler 300 mixes softness and aggression, combining a pastel blue paint color with darkened accents. Mopar says more than 300 unique “Easter eggs” are hidden on the Matte black grille, where miniature Mopar “M” black letters dot the entire grille. Other details include a Mopar coilover lowering kit, 22-inch wheels, and a concept rear valence and a Mopar deck-lid spoiler. A beefed up 5.7-liter HEMI engine with a Stage 3 kit complements a big brake kit.
Chrysler 200 S Mopar
Adoring the Chrysler 200 S Mopar is a body kit, concept dual-vented Mopar performance hood, and 19-inch wheels painted in Satin Black. The V-6 Pentastar engine features a cat-back exhaust and cold-air intake, while a suspension lowering kit adds to the sinister look.
If the standard Fiat 500X isn’t quirky enough for you, here are two slightly more wild vehicles. The Fiat 500X Chicane was designed as a street-tuner vehicle with body cladding, 20-inch wheels, and a Competition Blue exterior with a concept Chicane body side stripe and black-painted roof.
The Fiat 500X Mobe, named after a kite-surfing trick, features an Ivory Pearl Exterior with bronze accents on the hood, roof, mirror caps, and lower grille surround. The roof rack on this model was designed for kiteboards and other recreational equipment. Both customized Fiat 500X models feature a 2.4-liter Tigershark engine paired with a nine-speed automatic.
