Those who find the Land Rover LR2 a bit too plain will soon be able to purchase a spiced-up variant wearing the HSE badge. Set to go on sale November 1, the LR2 HSE will sport 19-inch alloy wheels, body color fascias and side sills, titanium door handles, and a rear spoiler. Inside, the HSE receives power adjustable seats and an additional storage box with a sliding cover.
Mechanically, the HSE is unchanged. The 230 horsepower 3.2-liter inline-six found in the regular LR2 remains, as does the six-speed automatic and Land Rover’s Terrain Response system.
Pricing is not yet available, but will likely be a close to $40,000. The base LR2 starts out at $34,700.
