Automaker will gauge public reaction to new accessories.
Chevrolet will debut a collection of Red Line Series concept vehicles, including a special Camaro, at the upcoming 2015 Specialty Equipment Market Association show in Las Vegas.
The Chevrolet Camaro Red Line Series concept shows off a number of custom accessories made specifically for the show car. These include red fog lamp bezels as well as decklid panel graphics, special nameplates, and 20-inch wheels with Satin Graphite and red accents.
On the other hand, a number of components on the show car will be available as aftermarket accessories when the 2016 Camaro arrives. These include the red grille inserts, darkened taillamps, black bowtie, suspension lowering kit, brake package, and air intake kit. The 2016 Chevrolet Camaro goes on sale this fall with a number of available performance parts and accessories.
Chevrolet has also introduced Red Line Series versions of the Trax, Malibu, Colorado, and Silverado 1500 ahead of SEMA. All Red Line cars feature an Enhanced Silver Metallic exterior, a custom Charcoal roof panel, and Satin Graphite and red accents. Each accessory was created in Chevrolet’s own design studio with the vehicles themselves.
We’ll learn more about the Chevrolet Red Line Series models when they make their debut November 3 at the SEMA show. Also look out for the Spark RS concept which is also destined for the show.
