A $50 USD increase across the model range
Prices remain nearly untouched, aside from a tiny $50 USD bump across the board. New prices begin at $33,395 USD for the Maxima S, and climb up to $40,825 USD for the top-of-the-line Maxima Platinum. If you do spring for the loaded Platinum level, Nissan now offers two additional option packages.
The Medallion package adds a bit of visual flair to the Maxima Platinum, including a spoiler, 18-inch wheels, exterior puddle lamps, illuminated door sills, and interior accent lighting. Maxima buyers who want all this fancy equipment will pony up an additional $1,345 USD.
The more performance-minded SV trim level receives a new vanity pack as well with the addition of the Dynamic Package. This $990 USD kit includes a spoiler, new side-skirts, and illuminated door-sill plates.
Underneath all of this additional glitz and glam beats the same 3.5-liter V-6 engine, sending 300 hp to the front wheels through a continuously variable transmission (CVT).
If these changes have you all hot under the collar, you’re in luck, as Nissan says the 2017 Maxima have just gone on sale.
