Buick will debut a brand new version of its full-size sedan at the Los Angeles Auto Show this November. The 2017 Buick LaCrosse is expected to receive many of the same design cues as the Avenir Concept we saw earlier this year.
The automaker has released a single teaser image showing the car’s new front end. Just like on the Avenir, the LaCrosse’s new grille features a horizontal wing that connects the insignia to the headlamps. Buick says all its models will adopt the same new face by 2018. We like the look of the slimmer, more sculpted grille.
Earlier this year, we spied a prototype of the next-generation LaCrosse driving along the highway. From what we saw, it was clear the new model features a longer body, a bolder side-window profile, and a new taillight design. Hopefully, the LaCrosse will feature a next-gen IntelliLink infotainment system with a 12-inch display, which we saw on the beautiful Avenir concept.
The new LaCrosse will also ride on a stronger yet lighter chassis for the new model year. A new five-link rear suspension should help make the ride quieter than the current model, the automaker says, although we’ll have to drive one for ourselves to find out. Watch for the Buick LaCrosse to make its official debut November 17-29 during the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show.
