Super Bat: It doesn’t get more Renegade than ‘Batman v Superman’
So you’re a superhero geek in the market for a none-too-cute-ute, you’re a little mysterious, and you’re on a budget. Well, Jeep has got a ride for you. You might have to wait until March 25 to see Warner Bros.’ latest installment of the DC Comics franchise “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” (#WhoWillWin), but you can roll down to your local Jeep dealer today and snap up one of the 6,000 Renegade Dawn of Justice special edition models that will be built this year.
Jeep starts with a Latitude 4×4 model, and for just $1,250 USD (figure $25,640 USD all-in) adds black 18-inch wheels, completely blacked-out badges and bezels inside and out, and a “Batman v Superman” logo on the tailgate. Exterior paint choices are limited to Carbon Black Metallic and Granite Crystal. Other spiffs include the uplevel mirror caps incorporating turn-signal repeaters from the Limited/Trailhawk series, Limited series vinyl-wrapped door panels and console lid, and cool embossed cloth seats that look a lot like Batman’s body armor. This is the only way to get these seats in the North America, but they’re borrowed from the European Limited series. But wait, there’s more! Jeep also throws in the gear you’d get in the Popular Equipment group (a $645 USD value) — goodies such as dual-zone climate controls, a 40/20/40 folding rear seat, power driver seat, a 115-volt outlet, and remote start.
